I voted for backgrounds just because I've seen more character stuff from you than bg work. :) But I'd actually like to see you improve in all those areas. GET BETTER AND BETTER!

Exactly!... :D
Lately i've been using references for anatomy... and i felt that using them helps growing on anatomy, but somehow limited my expressions... so i decided to ask people figuring out what's missing. Maybe i should just go wild! :D

QUEST FOR IMPROVEMENT!!!!!

P.S. Sent you a note ^_^
:iconswiftwhippet:
I've been told to reference human faces and expressions so I have a range of expressions that I know how to draw and can possibly make more off the top of my head. :) Using references helped a TON with my anatomy, to the point where now I've been playing around with and exaggerating it more to make it more cartoony. I mean to post more 'doggy caricatures'!

Replied! :D

Oh yes i know what you mean ^_^
Maybe i shoul try that, referencing animal bodies from photos, but mixing the reference resource on faces :D
Of course i don't want to use references all the time, the playing and exaggerating part is the fun one!... I will get there, eheh XD

Can't wait to see more art of yours

I feel like I, personally, need to understand how to draw something realistically before I start playing around with it. I feel that especially if you plan to make art for a living, as I do, it's important to balance studying and learning with just having fun. Some people are just born designers, but I'm not. I have to practice. :)

 likewise! I'm trying to get into commenting more. :D

I used to draw realist, you can see it here: [link]
(It's in my other account, i want to throw my "pro" stuff there and leave canine art here). I left realistic drawing at some point, but i want to mix both styles, kinda like *imaginism, i think that way of illustrating is awesome.
Yeah, some people's skills just amaze me O.o
That's the good thing of dA, being able to see great art :D
But i love your art too, everything you do seems so easily done, like you just grad a pencil and voilá! And can only do that on exceptional days :P

Oh good thing, i love to talk to you ^_^
:iconmaria-mar:
Thanks, i'll have that into account :D

good luck improving.
it'll only make you better.
