i had a msiive bear toy in my room, a veeery old one. me ans my sisters used to hear creaks and clicking noises, we were sure it was this bear toy making the noises O_O

haha no probs, i mean, i dont think u wanna put a clicking, noisy old bear in ur story (which my mum says was floorboards, which still makes me think...even so, why were the floorboards creaking?! O_O) but im sure u could get an idea from it

Yes yes!...
In my story, the little girl character is trying to sleep but keeps being scared by that kind of thing, so she can hear little noises and imagine a big monster in her head... the idea is that when the character finds a way to escape this fears, the kid who listens to the story feels more comfortable about its own fears ^_^
That's the basis in storybooks, and what makes them so special
